Ingredients:
500gm Tomatoes
100gm Onion
250gm Lentil
2 Green chillies
250gm Potatoes
50gm Oil
To taste Salt
3 tsp Refined wheat flour (for paste)
Method:
Cut tops off tomatoes and scoop out pulp. Sprinkle with salt and place inverted on racks. Boil and mash lentil and potatoes. Chop onion and chillies. Heat part of the oil and fry onions. Mix together onions, chillies and salt with mashed lentil and potatoes. Cool mixture and till tomatoes. Firmly press down stuffing. Put tops of tomatoes on, like lids, and seal with flour and water paste. Heat oil. Fry the tomatoes first on sealed side. When browned turn and fry all over. Cook covered till tomatoes are quite soft.
