Essential Ingredients:
500 gms Gram Flour
1/4 tsp Yellow Colour
Small Pinch Soda Bicarbonate
500 gms Sugar
250 ml Water
10 Cardamoms
20 gms Pistachios
5 Cup Fat
Cooking Instructions:
Make a thick batter with soda bicarbonate and gram flour dissolved in water. Heat fat in a deep fry pan. Drop batter through a preforated spoon. Fry for one to two minutes. Prepare sugar syrup with sugar and water to two string consistency. Put fried boondi into syrup. Add crushed cardamoms and pistachio nuts and form into balls. The colour can be added to the batter to make it yellower.
