Fish Fry – Punjabi

Ingredients:

1kg Fish
100gm Onions
1 piece Ginger
1tsp Cumin
5flakes Garlic
1/4tsp Turmeric
11/2 tsp Chilly powder
Salt to taste
1tsp Dry mango powder
½ tsp Garam masala
Oil to fry

Method:

Scale and clean fish skin and remove bones. Wash well. Cut into small pieces. Grind spices (onions to garam masala) and smear over the this. Set aside for about 3 hours. Deep fry lightly. Remove and drain. When about to serve, deep fry again. Serve with tamarind or mint chutney.
