Egg Biriyani

Ingredients:

1 cup - Basmati rice
2 cups - Water
4 - Eggs
1 - Onion sliced
1/2 tsp - Ginger paste
1/2 tsp - Garlic paste
1 - Green chilli sliced
1/2 tsp - Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp - Coriander powder
1/2 tsp - Garam Masala Powder
2 - Cloves
1/2 tsp - Pepper
1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
2 - Bay leaves
2 - Cardamom
2 - Cinnamon sticks
Salt - To Taste
Oil
Chopped coriander leaves

Method:

Heat the kadai add some oil. Add cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cloves, pepper and bay leaves fry for a minute. Reduce the heat. Add sliced onion, green chilly, ginger garlic paste and fry until golden brown. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well. Add rice and water. Stir well. Cover it and cook for ten minutes on medium heat. Slowly toss the rice upside down once, while its getting cooked. Eggs to the rice and slowly mix it taking care that you do not break the rice grains.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
