Chettinadu Chicken

Essential Ingredients:

Chicken : 1 Kgs
Red Chilly : 126
Pepper : 2 tsp
Coriander Seeds : 2 tsp
Fennel Seeds : 2 tsp
Ginger : 50 gms
Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp
Red Chilly Powder : 3 tsp
Coconut : 1 Cup
Lemon : 4 tsp
Garlic : 12 Flakes
Cummin Seeds : 1 tsp
Big Onion : 2
Tomato : 4
Clove : 4
Cinnamon : 3
Cardamon : 5
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves
Coriander leaves

Chettinadu Chicken

Cooking Instructions:

1. Clean the chicken and make into small pieces.
2. Chop tomatoes and onions seperately.
3. Fry for red chilly, grated coconut, pepper, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, fennel seeds and grind to paste ginger and garlic.
4. Heat the pan and pour some oil and add onions, curry leaves in golden brown colour and add grind the mixture.
5. Add the tomatoes, red chilly powder and turmeric powder.
6. Add the chicken mix well, taste to salt and add one cup water. Finally add lemon juice.
7. Garnish with coriander leaves. The chettinadu chicken is ready.
Suits well as side dish for Plain Rice, Chappathi, Poori, Nan and Idly
