Carrot and chow chow kootu

Ingredients:

2 - Carrot
1 Small - Chow chow
4 tsp - Dal
4 - Green chillies
1/2 tsp - Mustard
1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
4 - Small Onion
Salt - To Taste
Curry leaves
Oil

Method:

Cut chow chow and carrot into equal pieces. Adding some water cook them well in kadai.Fry the dal, girnd it into powder and keep aside. Heat the kadai add some oil. Add mustard, green chillies, curry leaves, chopped small onion and fry till it becomes brown.Now add the dal powder and fry for a minutes.Then add the cooked vegetable with little water in it and mix for a while. Mix well till it becomes a kootu.

Serve hot along with plain rice, chappati
